Sales Relationship Managers operate as independent contractors and are responsible for developing their own client relationships while facilitating travel bookings using approved travel supplier systems and tools. Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Development
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Identify client travel preferences and recommend vacation options that align with their interests
- Maintain communication with clients throughout the travel planning process
Sales & Business Development
- Generate travel leads through networking, referrals, social media, and community engagement
- Introduce clients to vacation opportunities such as cruises, all-inclusive resorts, rail vacations, and guided tours
- Provide pricing options and travel information to support client decision-making
Travel Planning Support
- Assist clients in evaluating travel options and itinerary ideas
- Coordinate bookings through approved travel systems and suppliers
- Provide clients with relevant travel details and documentation prior to departure
Professional Conduct
- Operate in a professional and ethical manner when interacting with clients and travel suppliers
- Follow applicable travel supplier guidelines and booking procedures
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and bookings
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Sales, hospitality, travel, or customer service experience preferred
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Interest in travel and destination experiences
