ABOUT THE ENGINEERING TEAM The Engineering team at GenLogs builds and sustains the end-to-end systems that power the country’s most advanced commercial-vehicle sensing and intelligence network. Our engineers develop everything from roadside hardware and embedded software to computer vision pipelines, distributed cloud infrastructure, and real-time data services. We are responsible for the reliability, accuracy, and security of the Trident network and the data products it fuels. Operating across edge, cloud, and field environments, the team partners closely with Deployment, Data Science, and Product to turn complex, real-world requirements into scalable systems that function under demanding conditions and national-level workloads. ABOUT THE JOB As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer behind Genlogs’s platform, you will have an opportunity to ensure the stability and scalability of the systems that will make possible the future of freight intelligence by leveraging AI, distributed sensors and multiple datasets to ubiquitously track all 4 million commercial trucks in United States and beyond. By helping build unbreakable supply chains, GenLogs is making America safer and stronger WHAT YOU’LL DO Cover the entire cycle of software quality assurance: Planning, Analysis, Design, Execution, and reporting of results with minimum supervision. Develop and apply testing processes to ensure that user needs and service expectations are being met. Define tools and automation frameworks. Fluency in writing SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, and filtering across complex relational and non relational datasets. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases Identify and Assess the testing process risk. Think and plan ahead in ways that anticipate the future development of our product offering and the growth of our team and client list. Work across our internal development teams and functions as appropriate to ensure all parties are working efficiently on the right priorities. Create the testing strategy for the genlogs products. Report project quality metrics and statistics, and defects control and monitoring. Able to make decisions in critical situations. Identify risks. Propose improvements in the process, team and product. Make sure the information is shared in a structured way and provide traceability of the testing process. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and automation roles Experience establishing QA methodologies and best practices Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills Knowledge of behavior driven development and gherkin language is a plus Outstanding attention to detail, and time / project management skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong technical leadership skills are required. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes Experience with JIRA / Confluence is a Plus Proficiency in SQL and other query languages PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with End to End tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber or, Playwright Experience with Postman or Soap UI Experience in the US Freight or Insurance Industries Apply To This Job
