The Portuguese Language Bilingual Resource/ESL Teacher implements a strong instructional program for multilingual learners. They are specialists in designated and integrated English Language Development (ELD) Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and implement English/Portuguese instruction for multilingual learners
• Monitor and assess student reputed company
• Utilize a variety of reputed company and techniques to maximize student learning
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to reputed company language programs
• Provide support and guidance to multilingual learners

• Facilitate parent and community involvement

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required: CT-Bilingual cross endorsement and TESOL (111) certification
• Required: Bi-literate in Portuguese/English

• Experience teaching multilingual learners
• Experience using a variety of teaching methods and materials
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Patience and understanding of cultural differences
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
