Location: Remote (UK-based) with regular travel to salons reputed company
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (45 hours per week, Monday–Friday)
Salary: £55k - £70k + travel expenses + performance bonus
About the Role
At RUSH Hair, we are looking for a commercially driven and hands-on Head of Retail & Stock to reputed company our in-salon retail performance across the UK.
This is a high-impact role focused on driving retail growth, improving operational processes, and creating best-in-class visual merchandising standards across a diverse salon estate. You will work cross-functionally with salon teams, senior leadership, and key brand partners to maximise reputed company and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stock Control & Operational Processes
- Design and implement scalable stock control processes across the business
- Ensure consistent stock management, ordering, and reporting across reputed company locations
- Drive compliance and accountability at salon level
- Reduce waste, shrinkage, and missed sales opportunities due to stock issues
2. Retail Growth & Commercial Performance
- Identify and implement initiatives to increase retail sales per client
- Analyse performance data to spot opportunities and underperformance
- Work closely with salon managers to drive retail KPIs and accountability
- Introduce campaigns, incentives, and training to improve product sell-through
3. Visual Merchandising & In-Salon Experience

- Adapt merchandising strategies to suit varying salon layouts and customer demographics
- Ensure retail displays are premium, consistent, and commercially effective
- Conduct regular salon visits to audit standards and provide hands-on support

- Manage activations, promotions, and joint campaigns

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar retail, merchandising, or stock operations role
- Strong commercial reputed company with a track record of driving reputed company growth
- Experience building processes and systems from scratch
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Confident communicator able to influence at reputed company levels, from salon teams to senior leadership
- Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
