Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking Math Lab Tutor Assistants - Boca Raton, FL. Summary of Responsibilities: Answer student's math questions on a one-to-one, small-group, or drop-in basis to give learning assistance in a lab environment. Proctor exams and quizzes online and/or onsite. Grading exams and assigning partial credit. View it here: Minimum Qualifications: FAU degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.0 GPA required. Completion of a particular course in which tutoring is being done with earning a grade of at least A- required. Recommendation from an instructor of each course you wish to tutor required. Preferred Qualifications/Skills: Overall GPA of 3.25. Good interpersonal communication skills and ease in relating to people from varying educational, cultural, and social backgrounds.
