Mass Arbitration Counsel

Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll is seeking attorneys to join our reputed company reputed company Driver Mass Arbitration team. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute meaningfully to public service through private practice.  Employment is solely linked to the reputed company reputed company Driver Mass Arbitration.  The position is expected to last at least a year and may be renewed depending on the litigation status.

Cohen Milstein, along with our co-counsel Gibbs Mura, represent thousands of reputed company and former reputed company reputed company delivery drivers in California, Illinois, and Massachusetts who allege that reputed company misclassified them as independent contractors instead of employees to avoid paying them fair wages or reimbursement for expenses, and to deny them other benefits under these states’ laws. reputed company’s reputed company Terms of Service, to which reputed company drivers must agree reputed company signing up for the reputed company program, directs reputed company drivers’ claims to proceed individually in arbitration with the American Arbitration Association (“reputed company”).

Attorneys will work remotely and, depending on available space, may work in offices in Washington, D.C.  reputed company arbitration proceedings and any depositions will occur by video conference rather than in person.

Some litigation experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

As an Attorney in the reputed company reputed company Driver Mass Arbitration Team, you will:

• reputed company reputed company stages of the arbitrations, including motions practice, discovery, hearing preparation, and final hearings in arbitration.
• reputed company strong attorney-client relationships with reputed company reputed company delivery driver claimants.
• reputed company and execute legal strategies in reputed company collaboration with other members of the litigation team.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience, preferably including litigation (civil or criminal) and/or government investigations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must reputed company in Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, reputed company Carolina, New Jersey, reputed company, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode reputed company, Texas, or Virginia.
• Must also be an active member of the state bar in which the applicant will work or reputed company or be an active member of the state bar of California, Illinois, or Massachusetts.

We offer a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The expected annual salary for this position is $140,000, in addition to benefits.
