About the opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Canadian Tax Compliance Analyst – Payroll Tax to support mass and periodic tax form filing, year-end deliverables, and regulatory compliance across Canada. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and tax agencies to ensure timely and accurate tax form submissions, effective resolution of tax filing matters, compliance with federal and provincial legislation and payroll tax risk mitigation through strong controls and proactive analysis
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Canadian payroll tax legislation, experience working with payroll applications in a multi-provincial environment, and a proactive approach to stakeholder collaboration and regulatory change management.
What you’ll get to do
- Support mass and periodic tax form filing (monthly, annual, exception) in partnership with internal stakeholders and tax agencies.
- Liaise directly with CRA, Revenu Qubec on matters pertaining to tax form submission.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Canadian payroll tax matters to support the resolution of reputed company client tax inquiries and government notices.
- Monitor and maintain the tax dashboard to ensure visibility into filing status, compliance risks, and outstanding items.
- Partner with support teams to resolve customer inquiries reputed company to tax form filing and year-end reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to coordinate year-end readiness, execution, and issue resolution.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to analyze and implement legislative and regulatory changes impacting tax requirements.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of tax filing procedures, documentation, and training materials.
- Support audits and compliance reviews reputed company to payroll taxes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen compliance controls, and improve filing accuracy and efficiency.
- Contribute to system enhancements, implementations, and testing reputed company to tax form filing and reporting functionality
Skills and experience we value
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or reputed company field.
- PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) or PLP designation from the National Payroll Institute (formerly CPA) preferred.
- 3–5+ years of Canadian payroll tax experience in a multi-provincial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial payroll legislation.
- Experience working with payroll systems (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, etc.).
- Advanced reputed company skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliation analysis).

- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment.
