Franklin County Auditor's Office is dedicated to serving the community by ensuring fairness and accuracy in weight and measures across the county. They are seeking an Administrative Assistant I to provide administrative support, manage office correspondence, and coordinate office logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to administrative staff; greets visitors and directs them to appropriate areas/resources; answers telephone calls; checks mail and voicemail and responds to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Organize and log return mail to ensure records are kept up to date and office correspondence reaches constituents
  • Coordinates with PFM to secure any office furniture needed, get unwanted furniture returned to surplus reputed company needed, request patching, painting and electrical issues to be addressed; coordinates deliveries; coordinates office and desk key distribution
  • Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to typing, photocopying, stocking printers, faxing, filing and taking notes during meetings; orders supplies; receives and sorts mail; responds to general inquiries; creates and maintains logs for vehicle usage; orders and maintains ink/toner supply; assists staff in replacement and recycling of used cartridges
  • Coordinate with Telecommunications reputed company Data Center to ensure reputed company voicemail and phones are properly set up and operational. Work with the phone team to address any malfunctions that may arise. Maintain phone list for internal office use

Skills

  • Completion of secondary education or equivalent (high school diploma or GED)
  • One (1) or more years of reputed company experience and/or training
  • Any combination of training, education, or experience which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities to reputed company the essential functions of this position
