The Vistex Sr Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects and programmes. This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity, brings deep expertise across project delivery methodologies and demonstrates exceptional leadership across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

You will also play a role in pre-sales engagements, solution scoping, estimating, and shaping delivery approaches. As a trusted delivery leader, you’ll be responsible for full project lifecycle ownership, executive stakeholder engagement, risk and financial management, and mentoring of junior team members. Beyond project delivery, you’ll contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and the broader knowledge base of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large complex projects / programs or manage multiple complex engagements across multiple Vistex customers.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and integrated schedules using appropriate methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid).
  • Own full project lifecycle accountability including scope, schedule, cost and quality.
  • Lead and develop cross-functional project teams to achieve delivery goals and operate at their highest potential.
  • Manage large project budgets (£1M+/1M+ EUR), including forecasting, cost tracking, financial reporting, and change control.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Engage and manage executive level stakeholders including sponsors and steering committees.
  • Assist in pre-sales and business development with scoping and estimating activities and expanding Vistex consulting services.
  • Negotiate and manage commercial contracts in collaboration with regional leadership.
  • Navigate ambiguity and drive clarity, making informed decisions with incomplete information in fast-paced environments.
  • Actively mentor and support junior project managers and lead initiatives that contribute to the continuous improvement of project management within the Vistex PM community.
