Analyst or Associate, Equity and Capital Solutions
Macquarie Group is a global financial services group with a focus on providing capital solutions. The role involves identifying, analyzing, executing, and managing investment opportunities within Principal Finance's Equity and Capital Solutions strategy.
Responsibilities
- Leading diligence conversations and efforts with internal teams, counterparties and external experts
- Presenting in meetings including investment committee discussions
- Gathering data from differentiated data sources to support investment theses with an evidence-based approach
- Preparing critical analysis including robust financial models, quality of earnings analysis, and KPI analysis
- Distilling information into succinct investment committee memos / external presentations
Skills
- 1-4 years of experience in full-service M&A, capital markets and/or investing
- Strong analytical and technical aptitude, with extensive exposure to business analysis/research and financial modelling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proactive self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
