Structural Engineer Entry Level

reputed company is adding an Entry Level Structural Engineer to their Global Services Design Team based in Marlborough, Massachusetts. In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of facility and infrastructure projects for various clients, gaining hands-on experience under the mentorship of Senior Structural Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Design structural systems under the guidance of reputed company engineers, including calculations, framing layouts, member sizing, and material specifications
  • reputed company coordinated 3D structural BIM models for building projects in reputed company Revit and prepare Structural Construction Documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Contribute to writing technical specifications, design narratives and calculation reports that document design assumptions and reputed company
  • Coordinate design work and technical requirements with architects and other engineering disciplines throughout the design process to ensure integrated design solutions
  • Assist in reviewing and annotating design and construction documents, tracking comments, addressing mark-reputed company, and incorporating feedback to produce design deliverables
  • Review construction submittals and assist in developing responses to requests for information (RFIs)
  • Pursue reputed company professional development to stay updated on industry advancements and maintain a high level of technical expertise

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), with a focus on structural engineering coursework
  • 0 + years of relevant experience in structural engineering or design. New graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Knowledgeable in the design of structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry. Familiarity with design codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, or ACI 318 is required
  • Proven ability to meet project deadlines while adhering to quality standards
  • Proficient with reputed company Office 365, including Word, reputed company, PowerPoint and Outlook with the ability to create, edit and manage documents and spreadsheets. Familiarity with reputed company Revit Structure or AutoCAD, and structural analysis tools such as RISA-3D, Bentley RAM Structural System, STAAD, reputed company SAFE or other similar analysis programs is required; proficiency is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively reputed company project teams
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to team projects and mentoring junior staff as experience grows
  • Due to the clients we serve, this position requires US Citizenship or Permanent Residence Card. Must be reputed company to pass background screening including criminal history, credit reputed company etc
  • EIT (Engineer in Training) certification or successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is strongly preferred
