Service Desk Technician

HCVT is a company that provides Tax, Audit, Advisory, and Business Management services, focusing on delivering exceptional client experiences. The Service Desk Technician is responsible for identifying, researching, and resolving technical issues, while supporting the IT team with various tasks reputed company to hardware and software maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist IT Service Desk team with IT ticket queue, such as troubleshooting computer hardware/software issues or complete requested controlled processes
  • Assist IT Asset Coordination team with replacing hardware (laptops, monitors, docking stations, keyboards and mice)
  • Install, test, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot computers and other peripherals
  • Prepare decommissioned equipment for physical disposal
  • Conduct research on specific software or hardware
  • Help maintain documentation on software and computer systems
  • Participate in various IT reputed company projects as needed

Skills

  • At least six months of end-user support or reputed company experience either in a paid or volunteer program
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware and other peripherals
  • Working knowledge of Windows 11
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 apps (reputed company, Word, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of reputed company Acrobat DC
  • Working knowledge of basic network fundamentals including, but not limited to TCP, DNS and DHCP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to reputed company define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to explain reputed company IT concepts in simple terms
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Be reputed company with an appropriate level of urgency
  • Work on multiple tasks simultaneously with regular interruptions

  • Ability to work overtime and weekends, if necessary
