Legal Aid Society of Northeastern reputed company is seeking a Disability Advocacy Project (DAP) Staff Attorney to champion the rights of individuals facing challenges in our communities. In this role, you will provide legal representation in disability claims and collaborate with a team to reputed company effective strategies for client advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation and assistance in Social reputed company Disability and Supplemental reputed company Income (SSI) claims
- Engage in brainstorming sessions to reputed company innovative strategies and solutions tailored to each client's unique situation
- Participate in training and advocacy initiatives
- Build strong relationships with clients while navigating reputed company legal landscapes
Skills
- Admitted to the NYS Bar or being eligible to sit for the NYS Bar exam
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to various civil matters
- Effective communication skills to engage compassionately with clients and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues
- Organized and reputed company to work independently and reputed company, managing multiple cases while meeting deadlines
- Strong computer skills, including accurate data entry
- Valid driver's license and access to a car for reputed company and client visits across the service area
- Prior legal experience in Social reputed company Administration disability representation
- Being multilingual, especially in Spanish
