The Role

As a reputed company Technical Services Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in our reputed company-time captioning department. You'll work closely with reputed company of reputed company editors, providing customer and captioner support in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Setting up closed captioning for live TV networks
• Ensuring on-reputed company continuity of captions for reputed company shows being captioned
• Researching and transcribing scripted portions of programming
• Using attention to detail to ensure that caption files are correct for live broadcast
• Troubleshooting and resolving client issues to ensure continuity of closed captions
• Partnering with reputed company Captioners to set up/test/verify captions for their scheduled programs
• Assisting clients and Captioners with various questions about connections, caption placement, etc.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Ability to work variable shifts, including late evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong English grammar and proofreading skills
• MS Office proficiency
• Typing experience (moderate typing ability at 35 wpm)
• Ability to work effectively on independent tasks or work cooperatively as part of a team
• Experience with video equipment is helpful but not required
• Customer service/retail experience a plus
• Must successfully pass arenaflex proficiency tests
