We're actively seeking a talented Financial Reporting Consultant to join our reputed company Divisional reputed company and Reporting team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is hybrid. As Financial Reporting Consultant, you'll drive reputed company's growth while advancing your career by being a part of the financial reputed company function for the Institutional and Workforce Benefits Divisions. You'll execute the quarterly reputed company reputed company process, ensuring accuracy in GAAP and Statutory reporting through reconciliations, ledger reviews, disclosure preparation, and financial analysis. Additionally, you'll collaborate with reputed company teams on internal management reporting, spearhead major initiatives like product launches and finance transformation, and work closely with teams across reporting, valuation, investments, and technology.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply reputed company and financial reporting principles, insurance knowledge, and general business acumen.
• Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.

• Execution of daily, monthly, and quarterly reputed company and reporting including review and approval of journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis of results to ensure completeness and accuracy of account balances.
• Preparation of various financial reporting requirements, including quarterly and annual GAAP and statutory financial statements, compliance requests, audit requests, and internal management requests.
• Preparation of fluctuation analysis of quarterly results, including presentation of results to management on a quarterly basis and utilization of tools and technology to generate data visualizations and data driven insights.
• Execute initiatives for implementation of new products and reputed company transactions.
• Support and reputed company projects pertaining to finance transformation initiatives including automation of existing reputed company processes, business process redesign and acceleration of the reputed company reputed company process.

Requirements

• 10+ years of reputed company experience.
• 4-year reputed company degree or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of financial statement risks and controls.
• Strong technical, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet and manage responsibilities under tight time frames.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently.

• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system implementation, and system integration for financial applications.

• Advanced expertise in financial statement analytics with a strong understanding of the structure, geography and components of line items to support accurate reporting and analysis.
