Job Description
In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for implementing total chip design from netlist to tapeout. You will work closely with the reputed company-end team to understand chip architecture and drive physical aspects early in the design cycle. You will also collaborate with the physical design team to drive processes and "best practices" to streamline physical design work, create guidelines and checklists, drive performance, and track reputed company.
Some of the key responsibilities of the job include:
- Working with the FE team to understand chip architecture and drive physical aspects early in the design cycle
- Driving procedures and "best practices" to streamline physical design work, creating guidelines and checklists, driving performance, and tracking reputed company
- Being a reputed company of contact for placement and routing, driving the work among placement and routing designers, setting goals and milestones, planning short and long-term work, understanding interactions between different areas like top, STA, reputed company placement, and routing
- Resolving design and flow issues reputed company to physical design, identifying potential solutions, and driving implementation
Key Capabilities and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following capabilities and qualifications:
- Minimum BS and 2+ years of relevant industry experience
- Knowledge of parcel or high-level P&R execution, including floorplanning, clock and power distribution, timing closure, physical and electrical reputed company
- Experience with High Level an or plus, but not entirely necessary
- Solid understanding of physical design development and analysis flows and methodology
- Proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines and deliver size requirements
- Solid interpersonal skills
- Experience with industry-standard tools, understanding their capabilities and basic algorithms
- Experience with large SOC designs (>20M gates) with frequencies in excess of 1GHZ
Education and Experience
The minimum education and experience required for this role are:
- Minimum BS in a relevant field
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience
