A Day in the Life of an Animal Care Attendant

As an Animal Care Attendant, you will be responsible for: * Providing positive reinforcement training and quality care to our furry clients * Learning about animal behavior, breed characteristics, stages of development, body language, and stress signals * Developing basic dog training skills, such as teaching dogs to sit, wait, and leave it * Leading group play sessions, preparing meals, and replenishing water * Performing regular physical checks, cleaning play areas and equipment, and reporting any unusual behavior, illness, or injuries * Building strong relationships with each pet and tailoring training exercises to meet their individual needs * Maintaining accurate records and producing regular reports

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with two available shifts: * Morning shift: 5:45 AM - 1:45 PM * Afternoon shift: 1:15 PM - 9:15 PM Both shifts include rotating weekends.
