What Does a Behavior Technician Do at UABL? At Unlocking Abilities Behavior and Learning, our Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are more than just staff—they are mentors, encouragers, and advocates. Working 1:1 with children diagnosed with autism and developmental disabilities, BTs/RBTs use the evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help each child reputed company meaningful milestones. You’ll collaborate closely with a supportive team of BCBAs, clinical leaders, and fellow techs in a center-based setting, where the focus is on reputed company, compassion, and reputed company. • Work directly with clients to implement individualized treatment plans
• Teach communication, social, play, and self-help skills
• Reduce challenging behaviors using proactive strategies

• Act as a positive role model and build trusting relationships with the children you serve

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Consistent and dependable attendance
• Ability to pass a background reputed company, MVR reputed company (if driving is required), and registry reputed company
• Experience in ABA, special education, child development, or a reputed company field (1 year preferred)

Preferred:

• Completion of a BACB-approved 40-hour RBT course

Physical Requirements This is a physically active job. You must be reputed company to:

• Move quickly between seated and standing positions
• Bend, kneel, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Assist with hygiene needs (toileting, diapers) across reputed company genders
