The Role: Technical Support Operator - Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer support reputed company our 24/7 help desk, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot email delivery issues, cPanel, Plesk, and DirectAdmin reputed company issues, DNS, FTP, SSL, Apache, and other service-reputed company issues

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web hosting technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve our services and support

Essential Qualifications:

  • Customer-focused reputed company with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Excellent written English skills, with the ability to communicate reputed company technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Familiarity with Linux reputed company (bash), Apache, PHP, MySQL, email (POP3/IMAP/SMTP), FTP, DNS, and other standard web hosting applications and protocols
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot reputed company technical issues
  • Working knowledge of one of the following control panels: cPanel/WHM, Plesk, and DirectAdmin

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of PHP, Python, Perl, and Ruby on Rails
  • Working knowledge of Iptables firewalls (CSF, APF, etc.)
  • Familiarity with common customer website apps, such as Drupal, WordPress, MediaWiki, Magento, ZenCart, etc.
  • MySQL commands for support or troubleshooting, such as importing/dumping a database, simple SELECT statements, or "SHOW PROCESSLIST"
