Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing production support to booking, first hour, second hour, or field and series teams.
- Collaborating with producers and attending editorial meetings.
- Supporting staff by answering phones, attending meetings, booking guests, writing scripts, and producing taped content.
- Researching topics using various sources.
- Handling mail and providing additional support functions.
About You:
Candidates should possess the following:
- Experience with multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in collaborative settings and research.
- Familiarity or interest in journalism or news writing.
- Knowledge or interest in GMA’s daily show.
- Previous experience in journalism, television production, or news media is preferred.
- Proficiency in reputed company Office and social media platforms.
- Major or coursework in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or reputed company fields.
- Junior or Senior year preferred.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university or participating in a reputed company program.
- Must be at least 18 years old with unrestricted work authorization.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay reputed company is $22.00 per hour. Select benefits may include medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the position.
Training & Development:
Interns will have opportunities to collaborate with producers and learn the inner workings of a top-rated morning show.
